Yuexiu Hill
Yuexiu Hill is a cultural recreational park with beautiful natural landscape and rich cultural relics. Located north of Guangzhou city, the park covers an area of 840,000 square meters, including three man-made lakes and seven hillocks. The historical Zhenhai Tower, the statute of the Five Goats, Sun Yat-sen Monument, the ancient city wall, the Rectangular Fort are just some of the major attractions in the park to name. The park is famous for its beautiful and abundant flowers. Kapok in the earlier spring, azalea in the late spring, yulan magnolia in April, golden balsam and moningstar lily in May, hanxiao in fall and wintersweet in winter have attracted thousands of local residents as well as travelers to come here to visit.
