The Bund, also called Zhongshang Road, lies to the west of the Huanpu River. The bund was a famous street. It was the center of Shanghai’s politics, economy and culture hundreds of years ago. The street starts from Baidu Bridge to the East Jinling Road with a length of about 1.5 kilometer, featuring various Western style buildings from before World War II.
