Chinese Seafood Recipe - Shrimp with Lobster Sauce
Basic Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled, de-veined
- 1/2 cup pork or chicken, grounded
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoon chicken stock
- 1/2 tablespoon conrstarch, mix with 2 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
Seasoning Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon fermented dry black beans
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Procedures
- Soak the black beans with warm water for about 5 minutes. Remove the black bean and drain. Mix the black bean, garlic, ginger, cooking wine in a bowl, use a spoon gently crush into a paste.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick frying pan, stir-fry shrimp for about 1 minute, remove the shrimp from the frying pan.
- Add remaining 1/2 tablespoon oil to the frying pan, add the black bean paste, quick stir-fry 10 seconds to release the flavor. Add grounded pork or chicken, stir-fry in medium high heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add onion, pepper, sugar, white pepper, soy suace, stir-fry for another minute. Add chicken stock, quick stir to boil. Then stir in cornstarch/water mixture, cook until the mixture thickens. Add green onion and sesame oil, remove and serve.
Timing: 10 minutes to prepare the ingredients, 5 minutes to cook.
Taste: Seafood flavor.
