Chinese Vegetarian Recipe - Sweet and Sour Chinese Cabbage

Basic Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs. Chinese cabbage (Bai Cai), cut into 1 x 3 in. pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Seasoning Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 chili pepper
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

Procedures:

      Heat the olive oil in a non-stick stir fly pan, add chili pepper, stir for 30 seconds, add garlic and Chinese cabbage, stir-fly for 2 - 3 minutes.
      Add sugar, salt, vinegar, stir for 30 seconds to mix well. Remove and serve

Timing:5 minutes to prepare the ingredients, 5 minutes to cook.

Taste: light, sweet and sour flavor.
